You are the foundation of what makes us special and an integral part of our business. The past will somehow always be behind us, so surely we should be positive and innovative when looking ahead?

I want to thank all of you who have stood by us, and me, in these difficult times. We entered a path of great uncertainty and did not always have the answers to your questions. We were planning, then changing our plans and preparing for all different scenarios, just to throw it all up in the air and start again. However, we never lost sight of what is most important to us, YOU. We have realised that what we write is one thing, however our actions will hold us accountable in the future. We hope that our honest approach, with the aim to save lives, and livelihoods, will be counted for in the future.

And now we look ahead to create (what we believe is) a clear, deliverable, and suitable approach to the “aftermath of Covid19”. It has been written by our entire team, using guidance from our business partners, UK Government, and the World Health Organisation. Through using scientific evidence, supported by a team dedicated to our safety, and ongoing training and review, our destinations will provide a safe and enjoyable experience throughout your journey with/for us.

We are gradually starting our Keep Fresh, Keep Clean, Keep Safe program. The aim of this program is to discreetly offer a sumptuous, and exciting stay with us. All the things that should be working and be offered, will just happen. That, to us, is exceptional hospitality.

There will be a staged re-opening of our Hotels. The Gyle will open its doors first, hosting all reservations until we are able to expand our operations. Naturally, we understand the inconvenience this may cause guests who have booked to stay at The Megaro, and we will endeavour to offer suitable amends such as upgrades, credit for next stay, and complimentary breakfast during their stay. For our guests who have booked at The California, you will also receive an upgrade, and free breakfast as part of your stay with us. And that is just the start.

Until we have more information available, rest assured that we have never stopped our commitment to the people who make us who we are. Our doors are open for you, and we assure you that your time with us will be exceptional.
